About GrowStrong

GrowStrong Youth Fitness is Bloom’s youth fitness program designed to help kids build confidence, coordination, strength, and athleticism in a safe and supportive environment. Each class uses age appropriate movement, games, obstacle courses, strength exercises, and skill building activities to help kids learn how to move their bodies well. The goal is not just to keep kids active, but to help them develop body awareness, resilience, and a positive relationship with fitness from a young age.

Our Methodology

GrowStrong is built around six core movement pillars that help kids build strength, coordination, confidence, and athleticism over time. Each class follows a review, preview, and focus structure, which means we review the pillar from the previous class, preview what is coming next, and spend the day focusing on one key movement skill. Our classes include games that keep kids moving, challenges that help them focus, and age appropriate curriculum designed to be fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate for each group. Through GrowStrong, kids learn how to do hard things, keep practicing, and build the confidence that comes from realizing they can get better, stronger, and unlock new skills over time.

Strength

Strength is the foundation of confident movement. In GrowStrong, kids practice age appropriate strength exercises that help them build control, stability, and confidence in their bodies. We focus on safe movement patterns, good form, and learning how to use strength in a way that supports everyday life, sports, play, and long term physical development.

Balance

Balance helps kids feel more steady, coordinated, and in control of their bodies. Through obstacle courses, games, single leg movements, and stability challenges, kids learn how to stay grounded while moving, changing direction, climbing, jumping, and landing. Building balance also supports confidence, focus, and injury prevention as kids grow.

Coordination

Coordination is what helps kids connect their brain and body. In GrowStrong, we use movement games, drills, and challenges to help kids improve timing, rhythm, reaction skills, and body control. These skills carry over into sports, playground play, dance, martial arts, and everyday movement.

Mobility

Mobility helps kids move well through a healthy range of motion. We teach kids how to bend, reach, squat, crawl, rotate, and move their bodies with control. This pillar helps support better movement quality, reduces stiffness, and gives kids the tools to feel more comfortable and capable in their bodies.

Athleticism

Athleticism is about helping kids become well rounded movers. We practice running, jumping, landing, crawling, climbing, throwing, reacting, and changing direction in ways that are fun and developmentally appropriate. Whether a child plays sports or simply loves to move, this pillar helps build the skills they need to feel capable and confident.

Confidence

Confidence is woven into everything we do at GrowStrong. Kids are encouraged to try hard things, practice new skills, and keep going even when something does not come easily right away. Over time, they learn that progress comes from effort, consistency, and courage. That confidence follows them far beyond the studio.
